Catching Up Part Two. . . July

July was so much fun, but a little exhausting. Mom was here visiting, so for some reason I went on a project expedition. She helped me with everything and took care of Caleb a lot. I was able to take care of a lot of things around the house that I had been putting off. In the end, the hard work paid off and now I can relax a little. Highlights for July. . . .

We gave our front yard a makeover! This was Brian's personal favorite. HA!

We visited the Butterfly Exhibit at the Museum of Natural History in Santa Barbara.

We went to the midwife two times to "Check on the Baby" (as Caleb would say).

Lots of playtime with Wo-Wo!

And we took some belly shots for baby sister.

Well, I think that catches us up for the summer so far. Hopefully, I will be really good and get August on here before Caylyn is born! I hope you all enjoy our little updates. Take Care.

Catching Up Part One. . . June

Well, I have to apologize. This entry will be very long because I am a major slacker! I will try to catch you all up. Here it goes. . . . .

Most of June was spent on the east coast visiting friends and family and doing a bunch of fun stuff. First, we went to Waldo to see Brian's Nanny and Aunt Jackie and other family members that were able to stop by while we were passing through (I have no pictures from this part of our trip because again I am a slacker, but for good reason. We took the red eye from LA to Orlando, arrived at 6am and then drove to Waldo 8 hours later!)

We then drove to South Carolina to see Barry, Nikki, and Isaac (who had a little accident the day before we arrived; note the blue cast.) Highlights for South Carolina: 2 trips to the zoo (once in the pouring rain), youth church where the kids rocked out to some awesome music (again no pics due to extreme lack of sleep), and lots of fun family time including dinners out, sightseeing in Columbia, and a trip to the "Man Store" for the boys. Nikki and I enjoyed a pedicure, painting ceramics for Father's Day, and some shopping.

Upon returning from South Carolina to Florida we filled our days with friends, family, and fun. Highlights:
Storytime with Nanny and Ava. . .

Playing in the sprinklers. . .

Going the the beach. . .

Dining with Ava. . . Bathing with Ava. . .

Visiting with friends. . .

Playing Put Put Golf and relaxing at Ron Jon Resort. . .

Hanging out at the Strickland's pool. . .

Taking Caleb to Sea World for the first time. . .

Playing Outside. . .

And Finally a Baby Shower in honor of Jamie Wasson and I. . .

Well, that does it for June. Soon I will do a post for July. Stay tuned!
